BlackBerry Pearl 8130

Overview from Blackberry.com: "The BlackBerry® Pearl™ 8130 smartphone is designed to help you do everything you want with your life. It comes complete with advanced phone features, multimedia, digital camera, video recording, built-in GPS* and expandable memory. And it offers the full BlackBerry® experience—email, browser, text messaging (SMS and MMS), instant messaging, organizer applications and more. Small, smart and stylish."

As far as I can tell, this is a better Pearl than previous ones. There have been slight updates to most aspects of the phone. One of the cool features this phone has is the SureType keyboard. It's similar to T9 for those of you who know what that is Amazingly, 99% of the time, it places the correct word. Another great feature this phone has is a REGULAR headphone jack. No need to buy a specialized set for this phone; any will work. There's standard Bluetooth capablity. As for the web browser, although it it better, I would recommend downloading my favorite phone internet browser, Opera Mini Web. GPS & video recording are two of the most important updates to this version. Compared to other smart phones, the 220 minutes of talk time is not very impressive. Price Range: $100-$150.

IS IT AFFORDABLE?...CELENA

In Response to Celena:

It seems not too expensive for a Blackberry with this many features. It really depends on what criteria you need it for. For the frequent "text messager," something similar to the Sidekick would be a way better option. the iPhone has amazing provisions for YouTube videos.
